Automus privacy policy

Short version: Automus does not collect, transmit or share any data. It has no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no telemetry, and it makes no network requests of its own.

What Automus stores

The list of projects you register — each one's name, root folder and start command — is saved as JSON in your operating system's application-data folder, for example ~/Library/Application Support/Automus/config.json on macOS. It stays on your machine and is never sent anywhere. Deleting that file, or the project inside the app, removes it.

What Automus runs

Automus starts the commands you give it, in the folders you choose, with your own user account's permissions. Their output is shown in the app's log tabs and is not saved or transmitted by Automus. Any network traffic those commands produce is theirs, not Automus's.

This website

This site is static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Download buttons link to the public releases page on GitHub, which is governed by GitHub's own privacy policy.
